Mutual Fund Investment Tracker

I have prepared an excel sheet to track the amount invested in Mutual Funds. Thought it might be useful to some of you :)

This excel sheet directly gets the NAV of selected mutual funds from ValueresearchOnline.com and can be used to calculate Gain/Loss of your ivestments.

Though some sites offer online tracking of Mutual funds, I though it will be good to maintain a personal tracker where we can keep about the purchase/redemption transaction number and other additional information.

It can be downloaded by at Mutual Fund Investment Tracker v1.0

Comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

Hey Bala.. I checked the sheet and found how it is working.. Really it is quiet good. If you find any websites like this to track the individual shares, it will be fine to find its monthly and annual move easily. Thanks for giving the download.. I too will try it out after my investments.

Nice blog you have. Am bookmarking it :-) am new to this world.. guess am bit late here!!

Reg. mutual funds, instead of all these, in most of the trading sites, they personalise and give you the sheets. Thats more useful.. try that sometime.

Nice One!
The Portfolio Trackers provided by the Web Sites are different from this.
This is really useful.

You have used column N in your formula on individual MF sheets but that was not defined and hence incorrect results in Consolidated work sheet.
Did you extend it to map variation of fund values as is promised by you.

Sorry.
I mistakenly placed my comment here which actually refers to some other excel sheet.
You may delete my comments.
Sorry again for the mistake.

Bala.G,
Not sure it works for me.
When I open I get "query refresh" dialog. When I select "Enable Automatic Refresh" (or select Disable Automatic Refresh and later select Query Refresh (!) icon) - the entered data in L24 to O34 vanishes and cells that have formulae have "#N/A" it seems you have used external web query and downloaded the NAVs once from valueresearchonline.com - but these links are failing now. It seems like a good if made to work again.
