Around half of the World

I am writing this blog from US. Uhh??? eppo da US pona??...I have come here to US for a short term assignment. I started from India on April 30th 2.45AM and reached Seattle on the same day at 8.40 PM. But it took around 30 hours to reach here. Flight journey was not as good as I expected and it was boring. (No gal(s) in my next seat ;-)) Since I am tall, I managed to sit in the fixed seat in the flight :( . It was almost same as Rajahamsa bus of KSRTC. In the bus we can tilt & push the seat. But in flight we cant. Since I was preparing for my journey I could not read any of the blogs for the past one week. Moreover I am yet to get my system in the office. I am recovering from JetLag now.

Here the culture, people, rules & regulations, weather, etc....everything looks new to me. As I am staying with my friends, I am getting good company and good food too.

A New place

இன்று எங்கள் நண்பர் அரவிந்தின் பிறந்த நாள் மிக விமரிசையாகக் கொண்டாடினோம். இச்சம்பவம் இப்பதிவிற்கு மூல காரணம். நண்பரின் பிறந்த நாளை எப்படி கொண்டாடலாம் என தெரிந்து கொள்ள வாருங்கள். தேவையானப் பொருள்கள்: 1. பழுத்த தக்காளிகள் - சில 2. முட்டை - நபர் ஒன்றுக்கு, ஒன்று அல்லது இரண்டு (அழுகியதாக இருந்தால் மிக உகந்தது) 3. ஐஸ் கிரீம் - தேவையான அளவிற்கு 4. கேக். செய்முறை: முதலில் பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாட இருக்கும் நண்பரை கேக் வெட்டச் சொல்லவும். கேக் மேலே உள்ள கிரீமை ஓரமாகத் தள்ளி விட்டு, கேக்கை சாப்பிடவும். பிறகு கேக் கிரீமை முகத்தில் தடவவும். விளைவு?? Fair & Handsome கிரீம் போட்டது போல், நண்பர் பளபளப்பார். செர்ரி பழம் இருந்தால் அதை பொட்டு வைக்க உபயோகித்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ரோஸ் நிறத்தில் உள்ள கிரீமால் மீசை வரையலாம் ;-).
